UNIGRAPHICS UG NX TRAINING COURSE LISTINGS
Below is a partial list of our UG NX training classes. Each ug nx training course is listed separately and includes prerequisites and class duration. For more information, contact us today.
UG NX training course – Design Essentials for New Users
This UG NX training course provides new users with the skills needed to use the Siemens PLM software. Topics include 3D cad modeling, drafting, and assemblies. Students create 3D Cad models, assemblies, and 2D drawings.
Learn about Siemens NX PLM software on wikipedia.
Classes are delivered in NX9, NX 10, NX11, NX12, and newer cascade releases such as NX1872, NX1953, and newer UG NX cad releases.
Duration: 5 Days Prerequisites: None
Unigraphics NX Training course for Experienced Cad Users
This NX training course is designed for experienced users in other CAD systems who need to become adept at Siemens cad software.
The UG NX training Transition course familiarizes users with the interface and functionality as compared to their prior cad system. Upon completion, the student will be able to work in NX creating datums and sketches as well as 3D models, assemblies, and cad drawings.
Classes are delivered in NX9, NX 10, NX11, NX12, and newer cascade releases such as NX 1847, NX1872, NX1953, and beyond.
Duration: 4-5 Days
Prerequisites: Experience with other cad systems before attending unigraphics Siemens NX Cad training course.
UG NX training course – Cad Version Update training
This Unigraphics (UG) NX training course covers interface changes and new functional enhancements from previous versions to newer releases of Siemens PLM software (. As a result, these courses transition cad users with the tools needed to increase productivity and be more effective with CAD design in newer versions of UG NX training software.
Examples: NX10 to NX12, NX11 to NX1953, and many more. Upgrade from any version to any version to and newer cascade releases such as NX1953 an beyond.
Duration: Varies (1-3 days)
Prerequisites: Existing NX user.

Synchronous Modeling Fundamentals – UG NX training course
Our UG NX training course in Synchronous Modeling teaches students how to modify and/or add parameters to non-parametric “dumb solids” as well as parametric models. This includes synchronous features used to move, copy, add, delete, or replace faces to alter a design. Therefore, any solid can be used regardless of history and how it was created, including those imported as STEP, Parasolid, IGES, and from other cad system formats.
Duration: 1 Day
Prerequisites: Existing NX user.

Advanced User – UG NX training course
This is a course that builds on prior knowledge of Siemens PLM software.
This course focuses on advanced modeling techniques that capture design intent. It includes topics such as advanced surfacing, spreadsheet control and analysis, expressions, etc.
The course will incorporate sketching, inter-part modeling, associative design intent and various advanced assembly topics, thereby providing advanced knowledge for existing experienced cad users.
NOTE! Advanced user training is usually customized to include or exclude topics as deemed necessary by the customer.
Duration: 2-4 days
Students will use engaging hands-on activities and workshops to develop real-world skills from a highly qualified instructor. This class is not only useful to product designers and engineers, but is equally needed for manufacturing and production tooling personnel and engineering managers.

Free Form Surface Modeling training course
Prerequisites: Existing NX user with at least 400 hours of use and NX sketcher experience.
Our advanced NX training course builds on prior knowledge of Siemens NX cad software for already experienced users.
The course focuses on advanced surface modeling techniques that capture design intent. The class includes topics such as advanced surfacing as it applies to solids and sheet surfaces used for model construction and trimming, etc.
Because the course incorporates sketching and associative design intent using expressions, users must be proficient with the sketcher before taking this class..
NOTE! This training may be customized to include parts relative to customer products.
Duration: 4 days Prerequisites: Existing NX user with at least 400 hours of use and NX sketcher experience.

Sheet Metal Design – UG NX Training Course
Our NX Sheet Metal teaches students how to create straight break sheet metal parts using new and recent versions of Siemens PLM Cad software.
This course includes punching, forming, stiffening, corner treatments, louvers, and more. As a result, students also learn how to generate flat patterns for manufacturing.
Sheet metal standards and best practices are also included.
Duration: 2 Days
Prerequisites: Existing user familiar with sketcher.
